Larry & Blanca Garza
We are a pastor and his wife who have spent years walking with couples before and after the altar. We did not enter marriage with all the answers. We entered it with love, with faith, and with a great deal we still needed to learn.
Before & Forever was written in the middle of real life, in the years our three children watched their parents choose each other again and again. The joyful moments taught us gratitude. The deeply difficult ones taught us that God is faithful in every single season. That is why nothing here is only for the engaged: a covenant marriage is built and rebuilt at every stage.
What we believe about this work
- Marriage is a covenant, not a contract. Contracts say "if you hold up your end." Covenants say "I am yours, even when it costs me."
- Pastors should never be under-resourced for this. Every resource in the pastor portal is free. Couples' assessment purchases are what keep it that way.
- Light is a friend to a healthy marriage. If a question surfaces something painful, that is not a sign the relationship is broken. It is a sign the process is working.
