Before & Forever
This book did not begin with a writing plan. It began with a marriage: one that has been refined, stretched, broken open, and beautifully restored by the hand of God. It is the testimony of two people who have walked through the fire of real covenant life and discovered that God is faithful in every season of it.
Six conversations. Every hard question. Every season.
The book, the snapshot, the assessment, and the pastor's toolkit all follow the same six movements.
- I.Covenant, Not ContractWhat marriage actually is: leaving, joining, becoming one.
- II.Communication & ConflictName your pattern before it hardens.
- III.Money & StewardshipFull disclosure and an honest budget.
- IV.Family, Roles & ExpectationsThe invisible rulebooks, out loud.
- V.Intimacy & FaithfulnessHonesty, history, and boundaries.
- VI.Faith, Purpose & MissionWhat your marriage is for.
5 Conversations Before the Rings
Five questions most couples wish someone had made them ask, with the exact words to ask them. Free, and worth sharing with any couple you love.
"The sentence we hear most from struggling couples isn't 'we married the wrong person.' It's 'nobody ever made us talk about this.' Everything on this site exists so no couple you love ever says that."
Larry & Blanca Garza · About us

Before you ask
Is the snapshot really free?
Yes. Twelve questions, no account, no card. You can email yourself the results if you want them, and that is optional too.
What do we get for $29?
One purchase covers both of you. Each partner answers sixty questions privately. You each get your own results, and once both are done you see where you align, where you differ, and the specific conversations to have first. You can share the results with your pastor with one click.
We have been married for years. Is this only for engaged couples?
No. The snapshot and the assessment ask which season you are in and word every question for it. Married couples often find the biggest gaps in the conversations they quietly stopped having.
We don't have a pastor. Can we still use this?
Yes. The assessment and the book stand on their own. If you would like a pastor or mentor couple in the process, the results page gives you a link to hand them.
I'm a pastor. What does it cost?
Nothing. Apply for the portal and once approved you get the facilitator's guide, workbook, handouts, and results from any couple who shares with you. Couples' assessment purchases are what keep this free.
What tradition is this written from?
A Pentecostal pastoral perspective with Scripture quoted from the NASB95 and ESV, but the six conversations serve any couple who wants a Christ-centered marriage.
